    Rick,
Great site and tremendous info. Could you please tell me where you purchased the dpdt rocker switch that you used in the wiring of the gas furnace for a generator hookup?
    Thank you,
    Jack

      Hi Jack,

I picked up the rocker switches from Mouser, they seem to have them in stock for the lowest cost for small orders.

Hi Rick, I watched your video on installing a plug to run my furnace with a generator. My furnace has a blower switch what do I do? Thank You

What do you mean by the blower switch? a separate switch that will turn the blower on/off? when it’s off will it still run when the furnace is running? If so then it’s simply controlling the blower most likely via a low voltage control and if you simply find the main power wires coming into your furnace and connect there you should be fine and the switch will still operate like normal.
