Installing Chain Hoist Attachment Point In Garage Beam Header

Garage Header Hoist Attachment Point After moving into our new place, I needed to find a place to attach my 1/2 Ton Mini Chain Hoist. These are really handy for a variety of uses from lifting heavy bulky items from out of my truck to lifting a animal carcass for butchering. I was able to use the main Garage Header Beam as my location and I show how to just use some angle brackets and some lag screws to install, also in the videos are me using this to remove the 400+ LB Firewood splitter I just picked up.
